Road Construction thru Sybille Canyon
Road construction through Sybille Canyon, on Highway 34, will start in April. The signs are already up, and much of the 10 mile stretch is already staked. You can get a pretty good idea of where the curves and juts won't be if you cruise Hwy. 34 on one of these nice spring days.
WYDOT will be using
www.sybillecanyon.com as a place to announce road closures for blasting. They'll also use the website to let folks know about anticipated travel delays. (There'll always be those UNanticipated delays, but WYDOT is going to do their best to let you know about the ones they know about, before they happen, so you can plan your trips through Sybille Canyon accordingly.
This is about the last stretch of road to be tweaked. It's between Mile Marker 22 and just past Hwy 12 on the Wheatland side. Construction is likely to start early and go late, with not a lot of days off...just fyi.
Drive safe!
