Rock On, Dr. John

Rock On, Dr. John
Why in the world was John Barrasso selected by the GOP powers that were and Dem Gov Dave to be Senator Thomas's successor as US Senator?
He doesn't get it.

Yesterday during his Republican address, Barrasso announced that solar and wind power don't produce enough energy for US Consumers. Well, DUH. Barrasso went on to claim that we need MORE energy, and we need it FASTER, and oh yeah, CLEANER too...and darn it all, we need to do all this at the same price as we are now.

Forget "environmentally friendly" though, he said, and Make More Jobs.

Barrasso:"We need to make America's energy as clean as we can, as fast as we can, without raising energy prices for American families. We need more energy, and we need it even at times when the wind isn't blowing and the sun isn't shining," blows Barrasso. (Pssst...someone point him to the Dept of Energy website!!! They're working on these really wow energy storage solutions. No kidding!)

Barasso's observations are dull, his goals unrealistic, and his solutions short-sighted. Not the kind of guy you want for your doctor OR as your Senator.

But what an excellent lobbyist, er, spokesperson, er, toadie, er...friend of the Oil, Gas and Coal Guys.

Rock on Dr. John! Wyoming's next Senator might end up being a Democrat if you don't start catching on pretty fast.

Wyoming Got Wind. And it don't stop blowing.

I may not have voted for Obama, but he's my president now and deserves my respect. And yours. And I think you should be banned from Wheaterville for the racism.

Ha, Ha:
Right wing, left wing, chicken wing, buffalo wing. What difference does it make who said it. Use some common sense and ask yourself what is going to be more practical to run. Naturally it will be the coal plants that are already in place. DUH! What is it that you dont understand about the tax that black jack obama is wanting to impose on these plants? That tax money is going to come from my pocket! I obviously worked harder for my money than you did yours and I would like to have it to hand down to my kids. Now then, If a nuker is more efficient and will benefit me in the long run than lets build them.

To Nuked Fer Brains:
Perhpas "left wing radio" carried it also, but the original "two nuke plants in every state" came from the, er, elephant's mouth. But don't believe me, check it out for yourself. It's real easy.

http://www.gop.gov/energy

"The 104 nuclear reactors in America today provide the United States with 20 percent of its electricity and 73 percent of its CO2-free electricity, yet no new reactors have been ordered since 1978. This bill establishes a national goal to bring 100 new nuclear reactors online over the next 20 years to strengthen America’s commitment to clean, reliable energy."

I'm sure our representative can pull one over on those dumb states and get more than our fair share of these fabulous nu-cle-air plants! Mebbe we can be "The radioactive state" ! Or the "Glowing Cattle" state!

Read the entire Republican "energy plan". It's only four pages long, an quick read. The summary is two pages long. (someone wasn't paying attention in 6th grade). And there's even a "Talking Points" page so you'll know JUST what to say when you hear someone else say something intelligent.

Jeesh.

Nuke plant:
What the hell is wrong with a nuke plant? Come on! Two in every state? That sounds like left wing radio. Those dumb asses dont even know what it takes to make electricity! Might have to go to a nuke plant. Sounds like black jack obama would like to tax the shit out of coal fired plants. Who do you think will get to pay for that tax? Probably make that nuke plant look cheap to run.

30 percent your numbers STINK:
I suppose that's because of where you pulled them out of!!!!!

Wind Power and Solar Power (and probably Nucuelar Power too) are going to power the future. Wyoming has plenty of Wind and lots of space for Solar too. Wind Power is the LEAST expensive way to generate power, and solar is second.

"Nucuelar" however, is the MOST expensive, and guess what the Republicans want to do? Put TWO nucuelar plants in every state. Tell me that's going to go over big! You want nukes in your back yard?

Do some research. And switch your darn dial from Right Wing Radio to something else, just every once in awhile. It'll really help you not sound so stoopid when you start pulling those fake numbers out of your you know what.

Someone tell Barasso too that 'green' jobs ARE 'red, white, and blue'. Wyoming has a chance to do wind, and to do wind in a way that will help the nation and the state and the environment. let's hope that someone tells that to our representatives before they screw it all up.
